Reddit AMAs
I moderate Reddit Ask Me Anything interviews from the NewsHour account with correspondents and newsworthy figures. On the right is a Reddit AMA that I conducted in late 2020 with Ricky Kidd, who spent 23 years behind bars for a crime he did not commit, and his attorney, Sean O'Brien. Kidd and O'Brien were figures in a NewsHour podcast series call "Broken Justice." The AMA went viral, receiving more than 48,000 upvotes and generating more than 2,300 comments.
Snapchat Discover Story from PBS NewsHour's Student Reporting Labs
I worked with PBS NewsHour's Student Reporting Labs team to produce its first story for Snapchat's Discover page. The story focused on what students did instead of walking out of school during the National School Walkout on April 20, 2018. Student reporters and producers sent us footage from their efforts, which I logged and highlighted for the team that cut the story.
